Prospect promotions (formally GFP promotions) first show was back in April 2014 when Matt Brennan decided to raise money for charity by boxing 10 rounds against 10 opponents. The show was a great success selling out at Kesgrave community centre and also raising over £10000!
The show inspired a new breed of Ipswich boxers who wanted to ‘give it a go’ and this prompted the evolution to the Charity concept of Prospect promotions. Suffolk Punch boxing club was formed and suddenly there was a team of boxers wanting to box in their home town.
Our Charity process see's complete beginners take part in a full training camp at Suffolk Punch boxing club for 12 weeks before stepping in the ring in front of their family and friends!
During the 12 weeks you will learn how to box, increase fitness levels and hopefully come out like a champ! The charity boxers as well as joining our regular members classes have their own dedicated weekly session where they get so much more coach time!
You also get to raise money for a charity close to the heart!
The shows are at Trinity park where we regularly have 600 people in attendance!
It really is one a truly remarkable experience!
